PlayStation 3 not 100% backwards compatible?

PS3

Gamesindustry.biz is reporting that Sony’s PS3 will not be 100% compatible with PS2 and PS One games, as announced before. The PS3 will use the same type of software emulation as Xbox 360 to get the older games to run on the Cell CPU, but this is one of the many new rumors about the Cell processor not being able to deliver as promissed. Looks like SOny is gonna have lot of trouble shipping the console this fall.
