Microsoft reavealed a few interesting things at their press conference yesterday. They have an ambitious plan of connecting gamers from anywhere, Xbox Live, Windows Vista, and even mobile phones. Bill Gates demonstrated Windows Vista and DirectX 10. Vista with will feature a sort of gamercard, where players will be able to play with each other from cross platforms, Xbox360 vs. PC.

The demo of Gears of War was impressive, the details and the graphics in general definetly showed off the power of the Xbox360. Grand Theft Auto IV is coming to the Xbox360, probably before it gets to the PS3. The Crysis demo from Crytek (Far Cry) was probaby the most spectacular graphical show in E3, expect morem tomorrow at the Ubisoft booth.
A HD-DVD addon was announecd and will be in stores this Holiday. No price was mentioned. And a small trailer of Halo 3 was shown at the end of the show.
