Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Screens

The next Pokemon is finally here! CoroCoro magazine, usually the first ones to reveal any information about Pokemon, have revealed the screenshots in their latest issue. The game’s style highly resembles that of Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald. The only difference in graphics is that it is a 2D/3D hybrid. It will release on the Nintendo DS handheld system in Japan Autumn 2006.

    I agree that mew and celebi rock. I would rather start with something other than a set of grass-fire-water. You, choosing first, always pick the losing pokemon as your rival, knowing what you picked will pick the one strongest against it. I think some randomness should come into play. I want more choices for the beginning, and the chance that your rival will pick the weaker one. Maybe they shouldn’t tell us what pokemon we choose from and your rival pushes past you on your way to choosing and picks first in excitement. That way, there is more variety. I have no wish to play rock-paper-sissors with a guaranteed loss.

    if there were more types of starters it would put the grass- fire- water- chain out of sinc, any way the new sterters are alright.
    the starters are turtwig(grass) chimchar(fire) piplup(water) they evolve into gortle(grass) monferno(fire/ fighting) and prinplup(water) which evolve into torterr(grass/ ground) infernape(fire/ fighting) empoleon(water/ steel).

    the first guy is right and wrong as yes you do start with the weakest to your rival but, and this is a big but, when there all fully evolved, which doesn’t take long, infernap fire fighting which is strong agaisnt your rivals empoleon water stell so use fighting moves, torterra becomes grass ground making it weak to water, trust me i tried surf twas super effective infernape is weak to ground making it weak to ground, note what does torterras type become so use earthquake it should be and istant kill. There all done, i hope you like what i typed
