$499 PS3 Won’t Use Wireless Controllers

First it was the lack of HDMI, then Wi-Fi and card reader. Now another Sony announcement and yet another disappointment, and this time the actual gameplay is affected. The $499 “cheap” version will not support wireless bluetooth controllers. So for $499, you don’t have the wireless controllers, you can’t watch Blu-ray movies, or transfer something using your memory-cards. And remember that the 20 GB harddrive is not upgradeable. Great reasons why you shouldn’t get the PS3, and great reasons why Sony (probably) will loose the next-get battle.

You got to be kidding me?! I even thought of getting the 499 version, don’t need blu-ray and all that other stuff. but wireless controllers now? gimme a break

What what what what what! no we cant have this tut tut sony and whats with the word ‘cheap’ they said it on the psp box ‘value’ pack gosh dont that make you feel a little bit cheap putting that on the box when the other kids got giga youve got ‘value’ and at least 360 made it worth saying and didnt make you feel cheap naming it an actual decent name ‘core’ for value and ‘premium’ for top and not supporting bluetooth this just gets better and better and the 20 gb not upgradable what they trying to do force you into getting a 60gb version which 360 is going to do at the same price as there 20gb atm so its all cheaper, Sony your weak What if the people can only afford the ‘cheap’ so let them spend all that money for somethings thats not upgradable now that is just taking the pi** some1 throw them a lifeline they need it im not microsoft or nintendo fanboy but (there going to win if sony keep this circus parade up) i have to say hate ps3!

Dude really why did you make up all this crap the $499 20 GB PS3 did have all the stuff the 60 GB had except a bigger hard drive and a wifi card…… really man really.

Sooo, without bluray , wifi,backwards compatibility (my biggest issue) or transfer ability isn’t the xbox 360 alot better deal?

THIS ARTICLE IS FROM BEFORE THE PS3 WAS LAUNCHED.
All PS3 models have blu-ray drives, wireless controllers and upgradable hard drives.
