Sony Praises Nintendo Wii

A few days ago, Microsoft’s Peter Moore said that people should buy a Wii (after they get the Xbox360 of course), and now Sony’s Phil Harrison says that Moore was right, get a Wii:
“I think Peter Moore is exactly right. I think Nintendo will be the second system consumers purchase after PlayStation 3.”
“I haven’t had a chance to check out the Wii myself, but Nintendo has a great history of innovation and has always done great things for gaming and long may they do so. But as it relates to our strategy they are very much in a different market.”
Things are looking better and better for Nintendo, but of course, both Microsoft and Sony wish that consumer only bought their consoles, and nothing more. It’s in Microsoft’s best interest if people choose Wii instead of the PS3 as their second console, and vice versa with Sony.
