Wii To Outsell GameCube 3 Times

Nintendo president Satoru Iwata has publicly said that the Wii console will sell two to three times that of GameCube. He mentioned it during a press interiew in Japan. That would bring the total worldwide Wii sales around 40-60 million consoles. This could also indicate that Nintendo will use an aggressive pricing strategy with the Wii, recent estimates say that it will ship at $200 or even lower.
