No Xbox360 Price Drop This Time
May 22nd, 2006 by Darren Stevens in PlayStation 3, Rumor, Technology, Xbox360After weeks of rumors and speculations, Microsoft has finally put an end to all of them. There will be no Xbox360 price drop at the moment, neither has any proce drop been announced. Chris Lewis from Xbox Europe says
“We have no plans to make any price adjustment. The last couple of days have reinforced the fact that we have a great value proposition, giving consumers choice, thanks to the core system. We’re not forcing the consumer down a route with HD playback. We certainly don’t think it’s necessary to make any changes to the current price point.”
I bet when the expensive PS3 comes out, we’ll see a little price drop on the Xbox360. Just to mess with Sony’s launch. Nothing personal, just business.
