4 Million Wii Consoles This Year

After E3, Nintendo said that they would ship 6 million consoles this fiscal year, ending in March 2007. Yesterday president Satoru Iwata said that they plan on shipping 4 million this year, and the remaining 2 million from January to March 2007. Sony announced the same strategy at E3, 4 million in 2006, and 2 million by March 2007.
