Apple Interested In Buying Nintendo?

Apple Computer is said to be interested in buying Nintendo. I remember when Microsoft tried the same move before going their own way with the Xbox. Nintendo wasn’t interested in selling back then, and nothing suggests that they will be interested in the Apple offer. Apple’s market cap is $51.7bn (Nintendo’s is $23.1bn), meaning it won’t be easy to Apple to just “buy” The Big N. If Apple wanted to buy Nintendo it could theoretically raise debt to cover the cost because it has a good credit rating, not to mention $6.34bn in cash reserves.

Nintendo has recently been designing its hardware in a very clean and smooth way, the Wii reminds of the Mac Mini in a lot of ways. But for Apple to buy Nintendo seems just a bit unrealistic.
