Duke Nukem Forever Out This Year?
Several news sources are reporting that publisher Take Two offered 3D Realm 500,000 if the game was released this year. Originally announced in 1999, Take Two agreed to fund the game with $6 million, but now, after countless setbacks and years of delay, 3D Realms might only get $4,250 (yes, four thousand two hundred and fifty). And extra 500k might “inspire” 3D Realms to get the game done by December 31, 2006. After 7 years in development, only a masterpiece would be accepted by the gaming community. Somehow, I feel the game will be far from that.
