Wii Sensors Causing Trouble For Nintendo?
June 18th, 2006 Posted in Hardware, Rumor, Simulation, Technology, Wii

German site gamefront.de suggests that the reason Nintendo hasn’t given out a price and launch date on the Wii is because of the sensor bar that comes with each package. The sensor bar registers all the movement from the Wii controller, and apparently it isn’t finished yet, the final design specs and measurements are still up for discussion at The Big N. How are they going to fit the large sensor in the supposedly “small and cool” Wii boxes? We don’t know if Zhe Germans are right on this one, we do know they’re qualified from the group stage in the World Cup.

They’ve been clever to keep this under wraps. Not many people who are hyped about the Wii (worst name ever!) don’t know about this ugly thing…

I actually like it, I will say it looks a bit wierd, but I like the colour choises. I am one of the few who is hyped about it. They also have some very interesting games already in the making.
