Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot openly speaks about Sony’s pricing strategy, saying (what we’re all saying pretty much) - It’s too expensive and therefore won’t sell enough. According to Guillemot, the PS3 price must “drop rapidly” in 2007 if they want to compete with Microsoft’s Xbox360. He dropped the words in an interview with Bloomberg, who are estimatng that Sony will sell 40 million PS3’s by 2008, while Sony is counting on selling 100 million in the PS3 lifespan (5-6 years).

There is no way in the universe that the Playstation 3 will sell 40 million systems by 2008!

Square Enix needs to wake up and realize this! Release Final Fantasy XIII for the Xbox 360 first!

Namco needs to wake up and realize this! Release Tekken on the Xbox 360!

Konami needs to wake up and realize this! Release Metal Gear Solid on the Xbox 360!

Sony is crazy!..Not in my lifetime did I spend $600 bucks or more for a console!..Also the PlayStation 2 is one of the worst consoles ever made ever!..The damn thing dies on you within less then 3 months?..Absolutely Ridiculous!..And there price for the PlayStation 3 is mind bogling!..I actually could careless about the BlueRay player bulit in the PS3..thats why its so expensive..If you took a poll for people 27-35 they would say no I’m not falling for SCEA or SCEE or SCEJ to pay for a console that could die on me within less then 3-4 weeks of purchasing it..Bingo..SCEA You evil corporate bastard..Japan also is greedy getting all the colors for thereselfs while America gets the Unroyal treatment!..wtf..this has to stop..The color Black is so damn stupid I’d rather have a color that I prefer..And not what Japan decides..f u Japan!…Losers..Also greed is for the rich.. >:(

they will probably sell less then 10 million lol..The prices kills me..I am going to wait to see whos top in 2007!..I think kids should also make a wise decision on the PS3 ..Because you parents are nuts if you buy a $600 dollar console for your spoiled brat kids..lol..

I heard that the Xbox360 will drop to compete against the Next Gen Wars..Yea!..Go for it! ….I’ll buy it over the PS3 anyday!..Thats cheap!..So the $399 will be $299..?..Sweet!..
