Online retailer Shopto.net lets you pre-order the Nintendo Wii console for 150 GBP, or around US$200. They expect the console to be available October 15. The price seems quite steep, 150 Pounds was expected in the UK, but that translates into roughly $275 USD. All of Nintendo’s previous consoles have launched at $199 in the U.S., and considering the hardware and Nintendo statements on pricing, nothing points in the direction of a price higher than $250 in the States. Shopto also offers Wii games for £47.99.

1I doubt it’ll be over 200 bucks, since evey other nintendo console cost 200.

2Nintendo said the Wii won’t ‘exceed’ $250, so it could still retail for around $249.99.
£150 is a good price and what a lot of people predicted, let’s hope it does retail for that.

3£150 is a tad too much for my liking. With the PS3 premium expected to retail for £400-425 the Wii should be £100. I might wait out a pricedrop, nothing really interesting at launch anyway.
