Too Much Online Gaming In Vietnam

cafe vietnamAuthorities in Vietnam are trying to limit the amount of time people are playing games online, Voice of America reports. The Vietnamese government has passed a regulation that limits especially youngsters of playing games for hours at a time. The regulation requires game developers to make it harder for players to level up if they have played a session longer than 3 hours, and to completely stop giving points after 5 hours of gameplay (Imagine chaos and uprising that would cause in the WoW universe overhere).

Vu Xuan Thanh, chief inspector at the Ministry of Culture and Information says that some kids play so much they collapse on their keyboards in Internet Cafés, sometimes after 10 hours of non-stop gaming.

The new regulation took effect on July 1, but very few gamers and Café owners know about it.
