PS3 Cell CPU Is Doing Bad. Really Bad.

TheInquirer once again reports on bad yields of the Cell CPU, the main brain of the PS3. Last time a lot of Sony fanboys tried to disprove INQ, and now it seems that a very credible source, IBM, confirms problems with the PS3 hardware. IBM Semiconductor VP Tom Reeves says in an interview with Reed-Electonics the yields on the Cell are horrible, down to 10-20 percent. He also talked about backwards compatibility and how Sony priorities that (very) high.
