Dead Rising Banned In Germany
July 17th, 2006 by Darren Stevens in News
The upcoming horror game from Capcom, Dead Rising, has been banned from Germany. The German software rating organization, USK, found the game too gory and violent to be released at all. Dead Rising becomes the first Xbox360 game to be banned in any country. Usually developers can vary the content from country to country, depending on the ratings. However, with Dead Rising, it’s not that easy, since the entire game is based on hack and slash gameplay.
The game is still listed on the German Xbox site, but it’s highly unlikely it will be released unless drastic changes are made.

I dont even know why this is a issue when it is just a video game its not like after people playing the game are going to go and kill people. And about the gory part every action game has got some gore for example resident evil. That game in my opinion has more gore then dead rising.
