Neverwinter Nights 2 Delayed By A Month
July 18th, 2006 by Darren Stevens in Multiplayer, PC, RPG, Strategy
The successor to the very popular RPG Neverwinter Nights, Neverwinter Nights 2, was meant to be released this September, but it seems that developer Obsidian Entertainment wanted a few extra weeks to polish the 50-hour single player campaign. Publisher Atari issued the following statement:
“Given the sheer size and scope of Neverwinter Nights 2 and its 50 to 60-hour single player campaign, it was decided to move the global release date of Neverwinter Nights 2 out a month to late October.”
The game is set for a worldwide release October 20, 2006, and will be available in a limited edition version, the contents of which are unknown.
