Portal gameplay Video

Valve’s recently announced game Portal was a big surprise at the EA press event. Here is the official trailer, just released from Valve. The portal system is far better than that of Prey, since the player has full control. Watch the video to see how it works.

    That’s beautiful. I would buy Half Life 2 Episode 2 just for this. Do you know if Half Life 2 will get this gun? I can only hope so, I haven’t read anything about it yet. I wanted to keep myself for surprise, but I can barely wait for this. Valve is too good to it’s fans.

    Valve has once again demonstrate how much it rules. This game is so going on my Steam list the second it comes out!
    My God, it looks so fun!

    Dag-

    This gun will not be added to the HL2 gameplay. Your hope is valid (it would add a lot of cool elements to the game, but the HL2 weaponset is definitely solidified, and, unless a new “HL3″ or the next generation of Half Life comes out, I think it is unlikely that the available weapons will change much.
