Zelda: Ocarina of Time In 2D For The PC
July 18th, 2006 Posted in News

A 2D version of the N64 classic The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has undergone a 2D remake by indie game maker Daniel Barras. You can currently get the PC version as a demo here. Still in beta, the game looks like A Link To The Past, but is carries the same story and levels as the original. Check it out here.

This is really old, Barraz gave up.
It would be a great game.
I wonder if he was stipped by Nintendo, like that guy who was making 3D scenes from Chrono Trigger was stopped by Square-Enix.

Hehe… i just googled stuff about this OoT2D project for the mere sake of nostalgia…. it’s not dan’s fault he couldn’t finish… the whole public was joining as one big asshole against him. he was losing a lot of support and thus a lot of morale. but i owe a lot to barras. if not for this project, i would have never realized how much i wanted to be a game designer and i wouldn’t be in college right now… i’d probably still be working at taco bell or something gay like that
