Test Drive Unlimited To Cost $40

Surprisingly, Atari announced that Test Drive: Unlimited will retail at $39.99 for the Xbox360. They will also be releasing additional content after the launch, new cars and new music will be available six weeks after the launch.

The retail price is pretty decent for a next-gen title, however, it is unknown how much Atari plans to charge for the new cars, tracks, and music. What they lose by lowering the price to $39.99, they will certainly make up by selling additional content. And then some.
