Microsoft has just reported their earnings for fiscal year 2006. The Xbox sales were so promising, that they expect rising Xbox360 sales throughout 2006 and in the beginning of 2007. By the end of fiscal year 2007 (June 30), they expect to reach 13-15 million sold Xbox360 consoles.

They also reported that sales of Xbox360 have now surpassed 5 million, and are expecting to break the 10 million mark this year.

They have sold 3.3 million units in the US, 1.3 million in Europe, and 400,000 in the rest of the world, including Japan, where sales are almost non-existent.

Xbox 360 is a great system and i think the live network is out of this world. I think the Xbox 360 are selling great, but they have to remember that when PS3 and Wii comes out, the Xbox 360 sells are going to come down. I really want to see what PS# has to offer.
