Duke Nukem Forever was originally meant to use the Meqon physics engine, but Meqon was bought by Ageia last year, and implemented in their PhysX technology. Naturally, one would conclude that Duke Nukem Forever will use PhysX when it’s released (when, oh when?).
Taking Ageia’s current success into consideration, and the fact that Duke Nukem Forever might never be released, I doubt the two paths will ever cross. When Duke is finally out and ready to play, Ageia might be history.
