$20 For A Madden 07 Sneak Peak?
EA and ESPN are planning on a service where they rip-off charge users $20 to view a sneak peak of Madden 07, pay-per-view style. From CNN:
Publisher Electronic Arts and ESPN are betting so, teaming up to produce a one-hour pay-per-view special that will describe the newest features of this year’s game and interview some of the game’s creators and most skilled players along with NFL players featured in the game.
Convincing people to watch what is essentially a one-hour infomercial is tough enough. Convincing them to spend $20 on it is another – but it might be a mistake to bet against the Madden fan base.
I remember being pissed off at EA for making us pay $10 for a few maps with the Battlefield 2 boosterpacks. This however, is beyond clever marketing and greedy executives. This is nuts. Poor suckers who will pay $20 for this infomercial.

WHAT?!! $20 for a blasted sneak peak?!! I curse the fool who actually kicks out the dub(20) for this rip off attempt! Who gave EA that idea anyway- Sony?
