Nintendo DS Sales Surpass 10 Million In Japan

dsNintendo has announced that sales of the (and DS Lite) have surpassed 10 million units sold, since the introduction in December 2004. By selling 10 million units in 20 months, the DS is what Nintendo calls “the fastest selling game machine ever”.

Nintendo estimates another 7 million units sold during the current fiscal year (ending March 2007).

    I think the DS is great, and most of us remember the Nintendo feel and smell of our Nes and SNES systems. I think it is great that Nintendo is doing so well, and I hope they kick butt with the new Wii.
