The latest issue of Japan’s most prominent game magazine, Famitsu, confirms that Armored Core 4 will be a PlayStation 3 launch title. The game is based around mech combat, like Mobile Suit Gundam and ChromeHounds. It takes place in the future (of course it does), where the World is overpopulated and six factions are fighting to control the precious world. There would be over 30 different Armor Core units to choose, alongside the six different sides.
It’s developed by From Software, makers of ChromeHounds for the Xbox360, which received some quite lukewarm reviews, and had several problems with the online mode. Hopefully Armored Core 4 will see none of that.
