Jack Thompson Just Won’t Give Up
Jack Thompson, Attorney at Law, has sent a fax to Take-Two, threatning to sue them if they don’t send him a copy of the game Bully. He and his fellow suits want to “review” the game, to see if it would, as Jackie puts it, “pose a threat of copycat violence in our schools“.

Take-Two has until five o’clock p.m., Eastern time, Monday, August 14, 2006, to inform me in writing that it will forthwith provide me with a copy of Bully so that I and others can analyze it to determine whether it still poses a threat of copycat violence in our schools (See Miami-Dade School Board’s unanimous Resolution), or the following will occur:
I shall file a lawsuit against your respective companies to stop the game’s October 1 release.

Jack has the right idea to get games for really cheap:
“Send me a copy of your game or I’ll sue you.”
What’s really disturbing is how he actually believes that Take-Two would be breaking any laws by not sending the game to him, like he is more entitled to it than anyone else.
What SHOULD be illegal is making threats like this.
He’s just lucky this isn’t the 1950’s. America didn’t like communists back then.

It works! Jack Thompson’s system really works! I emailed three game developers threatening them with what i would do if i didn’t get my copies sent to me yesterday. And just like that, i received 3 games in my mailbox..

People like Jack Thompson really believes that violent video gaming is the source of evil. And before video games, it was violent movies. And before that… Well I dont know. Hitler also blamed the jews for all the bad things happening in Germany in the 1930’s. The “funny” thing is, that people really believed him after a while. What if normal and well-functioning people starts to believe, that violent games f… up your childs brain? Luckily I live in Europe, and we have never had any discussion in public about violent video games, or movies for that matter. But I’ll remember the american gamers in my prayers

Jack Thompson is a sexually frustrated little man with a small penis. C’mon it’s so obvious. Actually he is little more than a bad joke and someone who is desperately trying to get his 15 minutes of fame. Ignore him people and eventually he will go away.
