The Yankee Group, a Boston-based research firm says the PS3 will have 44% of the market share by 2011, followed by the Xbox360 with 40%, and at last the Wii, with a wii-bit 16%.

Of course, analysts also predicted that the PSP would totally kill the DS in the handheld section two years ago. We all know how that situation looks today.
