Adam Sandler Donates PlayStations To Israel
August 18th, 2006 by Darren Stevens in PlayStation 2I stumbled upon this over at Digg, apparently actor Adam Sandler will donate 400 Sony PlayStations to the Israeli families whose homes were damaged during the recent war with Lebanon. That’s exactly what you need in a crisis like this, videogames.
Sandler is one of many Hollywood personalities to donate to Israel, thanks to Ehud Danoch, Israel’s consul general in Los Angeles, whose job is to “describe damage sustained by Israel and to explain the country’s position on the current cease-fire and threats posed by Hizbullah and other regional forces”.
I bet if the Lebanese had that lobbying power, they would get tons of PlayStations.
While were at it, Mr. Sandler, how about donating a thing or two to the Lebanese people? Like, say, food? Water? Medicine?

Its a shame hezbollah knocked out the power lines in our town with their rockets. Hope sandler can send some electricians too. Some games would also be nice.

So no one cares that the Lebanese have their cities demolished by Israel, have no food, no water, no electricity, no medicine (israelis bombed hospitals as well).
And nothing can get in since all harbours are under Israeli blockade.

No wonder it’s so messed up over there all the kids are spoilt.
That makes for pissed off grown ups with weapons blaming all others for there short comings.
I agree with the other guy people who were really suffering could have received there basic survival needs.
