Battlefield 2142 Coming To Consoles?

The upcoming issue of GameInformer will feature an exclusive first look at Battlefield: Bad Company for the Xbox360 and PS3. Developer DICE claims it’s “ the best single player experience ever in a Battlefield game to date”, with a multiplayer mode included.

Is this the first indication of BF2142 for the consoles? Battefield 2 has more or less made it to consoles, BF2: Modern Combat is a BF2 clone available on the Xbox360, Xbox, and PS2.
