Crysis Multiplayer Details

Crysis amazed many at E3 with its stunning visuals and solid singleplayer mode. InCrysis.com features an article about the multiplayer part, which looks to be just as impressive.
According to the article, there will be 6-8 official multiplayer maps, supporting up to 32 players. Four game modes will be available, Tactical Deathmatch, Tactical Team Deathmatch, Tactical Capture the flag, and Power Struggle. While some of the modes are quite common among multiplayer games, the “Power Struggle” mode is interesting in particular. Here you start off with nothing more than your basic pistol and body armor, and as you progress (getting frags, capturing flags etc.) you’ll get access to better weapons and items.
The game will also include lots of vehicles to use, from the usual Jeeps and tanks, to hovercrafts, ships, and even attack helicopters. Games can go on for hours, up to ten hours for each mission. The most interesting part though, is the day-night, where every two hours, it switches gradually from day to night and vice versa.
