EA Announces Battlefield Bad Company

EA and DICE have officially announced Battlefield: Bad Company for PlayStation 3 and Xbox360, this time focusing more on the single player experience. It will of course, true to the Battlefield franchise, include a great multiplayer part as well. DICE Senior Producer Karl Magnus Troedsson says:

The heart of DICE’s multiplayer games is the frenetic, unpredictable nature of the sandbox experience, where anything could happen at any moment, and that’s what we’re bringing to the core of Battlefield: Bad Company’s single-player campaign,”

The game is scheduled for a release sometime in 2007.
