Xbox360 Getting Football Exclusives
August 23rd, 2006 Posted in News

Football games have always been popular, at least in Europe. Sales of FIFA World Cup were higher than expected, and Microsoft is trying to take advantage of this, as they have announced today at Leipzig Games Convention, an exclusivity deal for both Pro Evolution Soccer 6 and FIFA ‘07. Although they do not sell nearly as good as the top place in football games; World Soccer Winning Eleven.
Exclusivity deals are becoming less of a trend, because publishers can make a lot more by releasing the game on as many platforms as possible (look at EA), so Microsoft must have made them an offer they couldn’t refuse.
