LucasArts has announced an agreement with Free Radical Design to develop a next-gen title Star Wars title. No details on the game were released. Peter Hirschmannm, VP of product development at LucasArts says:
“Free Radical has always been about titles with great gameplay and innovative design. In the battle for videogame quality, these guys are at the front of the line. This team’s pedigree is one of the best in the business.”
Free Radical’s Steve Ellis added:
“In recent years, LucasArts has established itself as one of the hottest publishers on the planet. We’re honored that they’re every bit as interested to be working with us as we are to be working with them.”
Free Radical Design is known for their TimeSplitters series, and has a great deal of experience making FPS games. Of course that doesn’t imply that the new game will be a first person shooter, but it’s good bet.

1Well i just hope they make battlefront 3 not all messed up, and if they do, well at least make an expansion pack, it takes longer and more blood and sweat to create just a whole new game, it’s ridicoulous! All for now!

3they should totally make a swb3 not star wars renegade sqaudron you should be able to customize your character choose what you want like sith, jedi, bounty hunter,etc……..it would also be cool to buy your own vehicles and have wide range of customizing options.and back to your character it would be cool to up his/her stats like speed ,aggresion ,stength, jumping and all that stuff plus you could buy weapons and upgd those too.and about your ship well it would be cool to be able to fly places with it and fly around the battlefront and this could all be in your carreer

4Hey all,
If this SWBF3 is for PS2, I will be very happy. There should be WAY more Heroes and Villains to choose from, including Qui-Gon Jinn, Kit Fisto, Assaj Ventress, and more. And even stuff like barricades, Force fields, and such.
