50 Million Xbox Live Downloads

Xbox360 corporate blogger Major Nelson posted numbers on Xbox Live, and how popular the service is. Over 50 million downloads have now been served via XBL, with 25 million over the past thee months.

Some of the other stats note that 60% of all Xbox360 consoles are online, with over 2 billion hours spent by players on Live since its launch in 2002. More stats and XBL PR at MajorNelson.com.

    50 Million Xbox Live Downloads…
    and despite that, the Xbox360 still isn’t even a contender in the next-gen console war! Maybe they should push for 100 million downloads.
