Nintendo’s DS MP3 player got little or no attention at Leipzig Games Convention. The image above is a brochure explaining the details of the new add-on. The unit will be inserted in slot 2 (GBA slot), and store your songs on SD cards (up to 2 GB supported). You’ll be able to chose between different skins (Mario, Luigi etc.), and there would be a separate port for headphones.
Nintendo hasn’t officially announced any new DS hardware. According to the brochure, the MP3 player will be available on October 8, for 30 Euros, or $38. Nintendo has previously announced the Opera powered DS web-browser, which will be available on October 6.
