Microsoft Responds To PS3 Delay

Microsoft’s European boss Chris Lewis has responded to Sony’s decision to postpone the PS3 launch in Europe, saying, “The move is not surprising”.
“We know how challenging it is to pull off a global launch, so it’s not surprising that Sony has backed away from their previously announced launch plan due to the unproven technology they are trying to pack in to their console”
When Microsoft launched the Xbox360 in US, Japan and Europe simultaneously, there were console shortages in during the first few months of the launch, but that’s common with all new hardware.
Microsoft will end up having a good 16-17 month lead over Sony’s PS3 in Europe, but as we reported earlier, sales in Europe aren’t going that well, out of 5 million consoles sold, only 1.3 million were sold in Europe.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!! someone at microsoft is actually speaking the facts.thats how everybody should do face the problems.
the fact is is the PS2 outsells the xbox 360 in USA and in europe they dont sell to good. and in japan well the xbox 360 is being outsold by 4 hand helds, hehehehe.
i can easily call the xbox 360 a failiture.

I mean coming from microsoft i was especting more like ,
thats what you get for putting blu-ray on it we will not need 25gb per in disk in the next 5 years dvd is fine.
nobody will notice the difference with 1080p 1080i is fine.
you get what you pay for thats why paying for online is better then free. ect. ect.
wow i very surprise actually it just doesnt sound like microsoft at all.

Lemme guess, Zac.. U own a 360? Ok then once the Wii and the PS3 drops, we’ll see how much of a flop the Xbox 360 is. The only thing that’s saving them from extinction is their online gaming website. I’ll give them credit there. Yeah, Microsoft rules online gaming. That’s why they should enjoy their marginal success while the Wii and the PS3 are still in their gift boxes. Because once Novermber comes around, it’s over for the Xbox360! Believe that!

Xbox 360 will not die down it will only get stronger.
There is a reason that sony is shipping 100,000 units to japan and 400,000 units to US. PS3 is already failing in Japan and thing isn’t even out yet. The Wii in my opinion will rein champ thus proving the world is not yet ready for next gen =] instead just want good games with good gameplay that they can afford.

Why only FPS for xbox and mario’s for nintendo !!! grrrr they both suck when it comes to games for all ages.

if these two dont focus on the main reason new games they are going no where yet again PS3 will destroy both of them. and can kill nintendo go the way sega and atari.

There’s maybe 8 Mario games for GameCube, out of hundreds of games. Yet you say that there’s “only mario’s for nintendo”. Nice one. You know there’s many more non-Mario games, stop trying to kid yourself.

main focus of games? what do you think that is then? is the main focus of a game console it’s blu-ray drive? seems so. is the main focus of GAMES the grahics? sony seem to think so.
go ahead and buy your ps3, i don’t give a crap. really. spend your $700 on a ps3 and a game. i’ll have spent half that price and i’ll be as happy as any gamer.
you’re stuck in the last generation. sony is no longer the dominating company.
