New Far Cry Wii Information
During the gaming podcast VGM Daily, a developer working on Far Cry for the Wii gave some interesting details, most importantly, the game’s full title will be “Far Cry: Vengeance“. The full details will be officially unveiled on September 14th (sound familiar?), but for the most part the game will use the Wiimote and nun-chuck quite a lot.
- Jump with nun-chuck by lifting it
- Slash Wiimote to make a feral attack, nun chuck to hit enemies in the back, etc.
- Move Wiimote forward to zoom
- Slash across screen for knife attack
- New version – not port from Xbox versions.
- Widescreen support, 480p
- Split screen multiplayer
- 20+ hours single player campaign
- Online multiplayer planned
- Downloadable content is a possibility.
