After announcing the PS3 delay in Europe, Sony has scrapped their expensive TV and billboard advertising campaign in the UK and rest of Europe.

The campaign was supposed to be the most important and expensive Sony product launch campaign ever, costing an estimated 40 million pound in Europe and Australia.

Instead, it has been pushed back to coincide with the new launch date in March 2007. After all, it worthless advertising for a product you can’t get, right?
