Wow the average american cant wait to buy their new high def. TV’s to play 80’s games on that bad boy ,wow how exiting.

This is better off the game console i mean ,its would work alot better if it was for a hand held.

  2. Kaiser Soze Says:

Shaka, I’m glad you only speak the truth, and that you’re interested in the truth. And that the truth is your middle name, and not pathetic Sonyfanboy. Keep us update, please Shaka. You make all other sony fans proud of themselves

  3. Zac Says:

i can’t wait to play some of these older games. i never got the chance to play them before because i didn’t own the systems.

i believe shaka is only interested in the new things put out by sony. his comments really don’t make sence here.

  4. Shaka Says:

Well its useless to play this game’s on a big screen with the those horrible graphics.

it would work better say to play them on my PSP while on the go.

  5. Zac Says:

it isn’t useless at all. they were originally intended for the “big screen”

and those “horrible graphics” are what made gaming what it is. and as a fact, you’re one of the FEW people that thing old graphics are “horrible”. many people think that they have a charm and it’s actually refreshing to play older games sometimes.

  6. Shaka Says:

Classic’s are classic’s but they are old i will spend most of my time playing the new stuff ,why replay the same thing over and over sounds like a waste of time to me.

  7. Zac Says:

A lot of people like playing old games. Even if it’s again. Look up the word “nostalgia”. I’ve replayed some games multiple times, especially Goldeneye, Zelda, and any multiplayer game. I play Bomberman on the SNES with friends oftenly, it’s great fun regardless of graphics.

“why replay the same thing over and over sounds like a waste of time to me.”
commenting on a thread to an item you’re obviously not interested in is a waste of time.

Wierd… I cant imagine playing Mario 64 on a plasma screen tv… would look very strange indeed. Those old games were really designed for the common household tv, not some looming behomoth of a tv.

Not saying its not a cool idea, it just seems a bit strange thats all, dont you think?

  10. Kaiser Soze Says:

adress.unknown: But those old games were not meant to be played on small handhelds either. So a new sparkling plasma TV will be the closest you will get to what was originally planned. Besides I dont see the big difference playing an old nes, snes, N64, PSone, sega, or any old console game on a plasma screen TV VS an old TV. The least thing it’ll do is to get the games look better

  11. Zac Says:

kinda strange. but not when you think about movies in the cinema being made to be shown in theatres, then people watching them on tiny (in comparison) TV’s.

    I agree with Kaiser

  12. Shaka Says:

    exactly my point address.unknown.

this games are going to look patethic on the big screen ,its really a horrible idea.

now i know nintendo wants to follow ipod’s trend.

1st -the name wii just want them to sound kool just like an ipod
,but that its easy the worst name for any product in history

2nd -release a new version of the thing every year to milk the huge fanbase for money.

3rd - now they want some online service to download 80’s games so you pay for them and play them on the big screen, itunes?

4th- the wii logo its the most ipod rip-off i have seen in my life.

that said i already stay with my previoust coment this is terrible for home tv’s its a better idea to put them on a hand held or cell phones something like that.
