    im guessing it will cost $249.99 becouse it is still under $250, and it will launch November 16, 2006 becouse its still before the PlayStation like nintendo said.

    The Wii will officially launch on the November 3rd at a retail price point of $249.99. Nintendo feels as if they have a good chance of a strong showing this generation so there is no need to lower the price under that for launch. I say expect a price drop to 199.99 by christmas 2007.
