New Gamepark Handheld Details Revealed
September 13th, 2006 by Kevin Cortez in Business
South Korean game company Gamepark has released details on its newest handheld console, the XGP Kids. The handheld is a follow-up to the GP32, which has a cult following thanks to its homebrewing abilities.
The handheld will be able to play downloadable games as well as free homebrew and emulated games. 8 MB of DDR, and 2 MB of NOR Flash memory will be featured. XGP kids will also feature a 2.2 inch display, a fully analog stick, and will retail for the bargain price of $75.
Unlike the previous consoles Gamepark has created, the XGP kids will not feature any abilities to play MP3s or movies. The name of the console was appropriately named because of its small size - both memory size and psychical. It is unclear at the moment if the new console will be released in Europe of North America.
