Wii Region Locked After All?
Yesterday Nintendo’s Perrin Kaplan said the Wii will be region free, at least the 1st party games, and that 3rd party developers had the chance to turn it on. Now Nintendo UK is saying Kaplan made a mistake. Speaking to GamesIndustry.biz after the European event, a Nintendo representative said “We are region-locked”, but didn’t mention anything about first party games.

What she said is that the Wii itself is region-locked, not the First-Party games(As Perrin Kaplan said).

If this means it will make more profit for nintendo then i bet they will do this.
