Mmmm, I still can’t believe people are complaining about the graphics.
After all, graphics don’t make a game.
But I’m glad about the Wii’s graphics, mostly because it’s so easy and cheap to develop for.

now check it out kid, you can have a console with a gimmick to play games or hot graphics with hot prossasing power to make hot physics.
but it’s up to the game dev’s to make the games good or bad.
but forcing game dev’s to use a gimmick to play games is really stupid.
when i played games like mario kart and new mario bros on n-ds they never use the touch screen for no innovation and they are boring games anyways.

Yeah, because graphics are EVERYTHING. >_> Oh wait, they aren’t, and the DS over PSP sales figures pretty much prove that.
But the Wii isn’t a gimmick if it’s used well, which is has been. The REAL gimmick is Sony’s tacked-on motion sensing in the controller.

Besides, if thees games are so boring and unoriginal, how come these games have all sold over 500,000 units? Also, how come the DS has outsold the PSP in every region if their games are so “Boring” and “unoriginal”?

like the nintendo virtual boy. it had support, yeah we change the way we play game, virtual realitity ect. and it was a failiture.

The Virtual Boy had the AMAZING support of 12 games. Wow. >_>
However, the main differnce is that people played the Virtual Boy and said “this sucks”.
But people have playe the Wii and said “this is great!”

Wrong wrong WRONG. Have yo read anything I’ve said? The EyeToy is a webcam that can detect basic motion, but not tilt. It also has problems with light and uses not nearly as advanced technology as the Wii.
The Wii, on the other hand, can sense tilt and where the Wiimote is, and has much more advanced technology. The Wii also has much more support than the EyeToy.

while the technology in the EyeToy was made in 2002 then yeah the gimmick in the wii must be better.

PS3 for all ages look at the PS2 is has tons of killer games for kids the likes or Ratchet & Clank ,Jak & dexter,Sly , Katamry damacy,Pacman.
and it also offers the best for mature ones like my self the likes of God of War,Socom,Gran turismo,GTA. ect.
nintendo = just for kids and blind fanboys.
PlayStation = for everyone who enjoys good ‘ ‘ NEW ‘ ‘ video games.

Wow, the discussion have really heaten up. One thing I dont understand is the discussion about maturity. What’s wrong with childish games? And what’s wrong with games where you dont necessarily kills 357 people in a row? Why have the games has to be so extremely serious? Dont you guys ever watch a comedy on the TV? Or is that only for kids to? According to someone in this forum, you cannot be a serious player unless you play FPS, beat’m'up or soccer games with the most top notch graphics on the market. Well I really dont play any of these kind of games. Does that make me immature? Does that make me a kiddie? Or is it just hilariously stupid to try to play so tough all the time.

Kiddie games are kool if you put out one or two each year the problem with nintendo all his games are for kids.
most of us who grew up with the nes, are no longer kids we want more mature games and thats why i think nintendo like always only cares about how to make money and doesnt give a crap about his fans of people who have owned all his consoles,like me.
if nintendo really cares about us there would have grew up with us.
games for kids are stupid,boring and more of the same.

The thing that you two have yet to learn is that the so-called “kiddy” games actualy have gamplay that kicks your “mautre” games’s butts.
Nintendo’s games are meant for ALL AGES, simply because they’re fun to play. Because a game is “kiddy” doesn’t mean it’s not fun.

Most of games listed up there are all rated E = for everyone. thats the kiddy stuff we are talking about it sucks.
kiddie games dont equal fun games even when its a mario game.
Anyone with an open mind can see nintendo is for kids, no matter how you put it or wanna change it with saying they are fun games, no they are not. nintendo playing smash bros isnt as fun as it was back in the n-64 days, cut that crap already and make NEW games.

Yes, because the port of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories onto the PS2 was SO VERY original.

I played the new super mario bros beat it in one day pathethic graphics boring gameplay, no use of the touch screen at all, and well more of the same kiddie crap. the reason it got good reviews is beacuase of the classic crap the game was crap and nothing special.

Yet it’s also games that sell consoles. If a brand new Rockstar game, weither it be original or not, comes out for the Wii- Considering that it only costs $300 to play the new game, it would sell VERY well. Rockstar wouldn’t be interested in somthing if theyt don’t believe that it will sell.
