September 30th, 2006 by Darren Stevens in Action, MMO, Multiplayer, Online, PC
EA’s upcoming futuristic shooter, Battlefield 2142, will come in a Collector’s Edition version; only released via the EA Downloader, and not in retail. The Collector’s Edition includes a game soundtrack, behind the scenes video and a special 24-hour head start on the upcoming demo of the game, scheduled for release sometime next week.
The game has just gone gold and will be released on October 16. Three new screenshots have also been released, more after the jump.

From what I’ve seen, bf2142 will be better than bf2, far less bugs (actually i don’t how any game can have MORE bugs than bf2)

Is that the PC version only or will the 360 version be available as well?

The game hasn’t been announced for the 360 yet. I don’t it will, since Battlefield Bad Company is coming exclusively to the 360 and PS3.

Oh yes there definitely is a 360 version on the way … remember this is from EA and plus I do remember seeing some 360 screenshots.
