Huge PS3 Demo Kiosks Appear
The first PS3 demo kiosks are appearing, and they are pretty big. As you can see on the image, a very nicely designed tower displaying Sony’s next console. But don’t expect to play any games on them however, since they are only there to “demonstrate the PlayStation 3″. Another, bit smaller kiosk after the jump.

They can make them as big and pretty as they like, as long as you can’t play any games on the demo kiosk, they are useless!

They most definitely are not useless. People are supposed to be attracted to the console because of the graphics, not so they can play some game on it. Actually playing the system might hurt sales.

lol come on guys do you think they wont put nothin on display to play with ? they would be nuts not to have no ps3 for gamers to test . I think they have to make these to get people back on the ship since big N stole the show from them as of late . I think once enough units start shippin then they will put a couple in there , you gotta think Nintendo will have one so Sony is not gone lose no more money they lost alot of money makin the ps3 this will gain gamers back

No I think its’ good really, the kids shouldnt pay 60 dollars for pokemon. And any 12+ yr old guy playing pokemon should be either neutered or shot on sight!

We’ll see what happens though won’t wii. I doubt, by any indication of how things are going so far, that we won’t see “Bargain bin Nintendo game”.
Strange how Nintendo still makes more money off this market.

Sorry, I think I’ve been sleeping for a few years now, of how things are going so far?
How many units did any system sell? Sorry? Come again? How many games are released yet? No ? yes?
Things are the following: Ps3 is most expensive, but biggest userbase + strongest machine, xbox360 is less expensive but less powerful, wii least expensive and pathetically weak in the cpu dept.
WHAT INDICATION? 2 out of the 3 systems havent been RELEASED YET. You can’t say shit! All you can do is look back on current consumermarkets and notice that ps2 owns all, xbox is 2nd and gc is a bad 3rd.
Period.

OR.. You could look at the polls that are around the internet to judge popularity of the consoles. The Wii has far more hype that the ps3. Look at the last E3, there was a stampede to the Wii section. If that’s not showing any type of popularity than what is? You can’t look to the past for all your answers Doom, Sony’s trend of domination may not last as far as you expect.

Like those are trustworthy. Really man, maybe you should read a book about how the proper use of polls and target audiences work. It’s not the internet, trust me. Here ull find a majority of pc users with internet, a lot of console gamers do not own a high end pc, nor does the @ population give an accurate representation of console gamers.

I don’t mind about graphics at all. Nintendo can afford to make profit on their console, since in the end it’s not overly expensive. I’ll be happy at buying it at the cost it comes at, regardless of it’s actually worth, as long as it does what it promises, then I’m happy.
I’m not denying anything. I just don’t see how public opinion 5-10 years ago matters now. Hell even fashion changes like the weather. There’s nothign saying Nintendo can’t be the more popular system.
