EA has acquired Swedish developer DICE (Digital Illusions CE), makers of the Battlefield series. EA already owned the majority of DICE shares, and bought the developer back in March. Now the acquisition has been completed, with EA taking over all assets and liabilities. Paul Lee, President of EA’s Worldwide Studios says,
“EA is thrilled to officially welcome this team of incredibly talented people and a globally recognized game franchise. The DICE studio has strong opportunity for growth as we build the Battlefield franchise and other new products. We’re confident that our creative approach and business leadership principles are well matched to share future success.

Next we’ll be hearing that EA acquired Epic … is no one safe from this Behemoth who has no clue how to make good solid games anymore. I’m afraid to see what will happen to the BF franchise now. Maybe I’m just too much of an EA hater to look at this in any other way but negatively.

Good Day to All
I see another Corp has bought another compamy. Does this mean that there will not be anymore updates for BF2? Because when LARGE Corp buy good are some what good product. It starte going down hill. Make the monies. Fuck the customers (Gamers, Server providers etc.) I hope that EA prove me wrong. No. I pray EA prove me wrong. No. Please prove me wrong. Than it will be a bater world for all.
