Sony is not doing a thing but charging additional money for a problem that they new existed. I am very dissatisfied with Sony.

My 360 overheated and died as well, but I have to admit – Microsoft handled it all very well, and replaced it quickly. The whole ordeal was pretty easy actually.

Sonys console overheating? .. where have i heard that before .. oh yeah ps2 .. but at least this time they finding the problems before its released .. there is a good side to it

There is KNOW RESAON AT ALL to be worried about the ps3 hardware. It would cost 299.99 and 399.99 if the hardware were “cheap.” We will be paying a premium price for a premium product. And we ALL know that sony’s tech support is the sh** if something does go wrong.

My 360 didn’t overheat, but my friend’s did get the GSoD.
Microsoft replaced it, though. ^_^

yeah i know what you mean about the faulty 360’s… my first one overheated all the time and i actually found out that one of the fan’s wasn’t working. my new one is working fine tho.

Lets hope the warranty and problems will be handled better than what Microsoft did with the 360. It cant be worse than all the faulty 360 but hey these are the same guys who made “Disk Read Error” so fucking annoying. That made me turn in 2 PS2s and on my third right now.

Well that’s to be expected. Add the air conditioning that will have to be blowing directly on the PS3 to the cost of the console.

Is no console safe from OH? Oh yeah … the Wii definitely won’t overheat since it isn’t using any extreme technology.
