More Id Software Games To Xbox Live?
October 12th, 2006 by Kevin Cortez in News
id Software’s classic FPS Doom was released on Xbox Live Arcade a few weeks ago. Tech site FiringSquad decided to contact id Software CEO Todd Hollenshead, to see if he would reveal details about releasing any other games on Live. Here is what he said:
We’re looking at bringing some of the other games to XLA, but a lot is going to depend on the response to DOOM. From what MS tells us, its been fantastic so far, which bodes well for other id “classics” to be released there. But there’s nothing concrete. Making the surprise announcement at X06 for DOOM worked out great, so I’ll be tight lipped about anything specific for now

Could this mean that other id Software games could be coming to Xbox Live soon? Let’s hope that Quake, Wolfenstein 3D, and maybe even HeXen will be released soon for Xbox 360 owners everywhere.
