New Call Of Duty 3 Online Details + Screenshots

The third installment of Infinity Ward’s WWII shooter will be released this December on Xbox360 and PS3. New details about the online multiplayer feature have surfaced; both versions of Call of Duty 3 will support 24 players online in deathmatch, capture the flag, and various team-based multiplayer modes. Why bring something so deliciously awesome to the consoles? Your just fooling yourself if you think that a console can display anything equivelant to the PC.
Same with Crysis, and Far Cry. Far Cry looks like vomit… Halo 1 on the xbox looked better. Makes me wonder how much better the PC version of COD 3 will look
after all the shots above look like COD 2 graphics… nothing special.

These PS3 screens look really supurb and if it’s graphics that really matter to you then you’ll be feeling very sore in about a year when the PC has once again surpassed PS3 graphically.
I can understand why you’d be such a fan of the PS3 because it looks to be a really kick-ass system but could you please give the fanSpam a rest.

PC games will look better the moment Vista is released and the full power of four cpus (quad processor) and four GPUs optimized for DirectX10. Forget about Price … we are talking about graphics … those who want the best always find a way to afford it or else these companies would be out of business. Not developing new engines to take advantage of all that power and new games that will blow the socks off of ANY console within a year’s time; development that costs MILLIONS and has plenty of backing behind it.
And don’t forget you have companies like Dell, AMD, NVIDIA, and Intel pushing the performance envelope just for gaming. Too much money is invested into PC gaming and despite what you say it ‘ain’t’ going away anytime soon.
Imagine what games for the Uber systems will look next holiday season and what incredible hardware will be available for it … from quad based GPUs to PPUs to AIPUs. Meanwhile for all your spouting off the PS/3 will be left in the dirt and games will have to be toned down in order to run on it. And yes so will the 360 but at least it’s not costing me $600 plus.

the reason gaming console is so popoular (amount casuals and average joes) is beacuase you dont need any knowloge at all you buy the system, buy a game plug it into your TV and ready.
PC gaming is way to complicated, with all the different GPU’s, what game is comatible with what,screen relsutions,ram,AMD64 or Intel ect and the biggest problem its highly expensive.why would someone bother when u get something better with much cheaper price in a PS3.

Yes. Because buying either a pre-built computer or buying 8 components and plugging in the wires is so very very hard.
Wereas you, Shaka, are intent on the best gaming experiance, why don’t you get a gaming PC? It has much more online play and media capibilities of any game console, and it offers better graphics.
By your logic the price is good as long as it’s worth it. As the Gaming PC can offer better graphics and media capibilities wiith limitless customibility, shouldn’t you be all for a gaming PC?

I liked the rumble in the start at ps1 . .with the mgs 1 mindreading and stuff, but after a while the gimmick wears off and it just gets annoying having a dildo in your hands while watching cutscenes. Althought I think it’s low that MS sued sony’s balls of, I dont think it will lessen the experience in any way.

pc gaming is for nerds and losers…..who buys a computer for video games? who the hell likes sitting in a chair to play games? and the cell(ps3)is very advanced it will win the race in the lomg run i already have a 160gb hardrive in my ps3 i also have an xbox 360 and it is not nearly as smooth.
