Rockstar Wins Over Jack Thompson

bullyJack Thompson: 0, Common Sense: 1. A Florida court has ruled in favor of Rockstar Games, denying Jack Thompson’s request to restrict sales of the game Bully, scheduled for release next Tuesday. Thompson originally went to court over Bully, Thompson went to court, claiming the game would inspire for more school violence. After the ruling, Thompson wrote a letter to the judge, expressing his feelings,

“The Republicans in the Congress of the United States apparently can’t protect pages, and the Miami-Dade judicial system can’t even protect children, let alone its own reputation.”

Thompson wasn’t interested in an appeal, since that would happen after the game has been released.

All this guy wants is attention. He just likes seeing his name all over the net. Either that or he is just a plain idiot. Bully is not that bad of a game and I don’t even like Take Two as a company. He should go hide underneath a rock and forget to come out.

Jack Thompson just loves video games. It’s controversey is just filling his wallet up. He will never quite unless video games exist no more then he will be out of a job.
